## <mark style="color:$warning;">How To Earn Your Way To A Live Cash Account</mark>

Traders may be considered for a Live Cash Account when one or more of the following apply:

* Traders who have demonstrated consistent, disciplined profitability over multiple payout cycles.
* Traders who have received up to **3-5 payouts** while meeting our internal risk standards.
* Traders who have exhibited exceptional risk management and trading performance.

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Live Cash Transition Options — Choose One</mark>

Traders selected for transition to the Nexgen Live Cash Program will be contacted directly by Nexgen Risk Management and provided with the following options.

#### <mark style="color:$primary;">Option A:</mark> Priority Live Access & Capital Allocation

Apply your approved payout amount toward your Live Cash Account capital allocation and receive priority placement in the live onboarding queue.

Live onboarding is generally anticipated to begin within approximately 30 days.

#### <mark style="color:$primary;">Option B:</mark> Receive Your Full Payout Now & Transition on Next Payout

Receive your current eligible payout in full.

Your profile will then enter a **30-day transition period during which you cannot trade any Nexgen simulated prop accounts**. After the 30-day period, you may acquire up to 3 new simulated accounts or resume trading up to 3 existing semi-live accounts, subject to Nexgen's current account rules.

Once selected for Live Cash transition, you will apply future eligible simulated account earnings toward Live Cash progression rather than receiving standard simulated account payouts.

**You may select Option B only once.** You cannot select it again for subsequent payouts.

If simulated accounts are closed as part of the Live Cash transition, have no eligible payout, and will no longer be used, the applicable account fees may be refunded.

## When an account is moved to a Live Cash account, any applicable fees will be refunded for:

When an account is moved to a Live Cash account, any applicable fees will be refunded for:

• Active Sim/Live accounts that have not yet received a payout.

• Passed Evaluation accounts ( up to 10 ).

• Active Evaluation accounts ( up to 10 ).

Refunds will be issued as part of the account’s transition to Live status.
{% endhint %}

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Max Risk On Live Cash Accounts:</mark>

A single semi-live account converted to Cash starts with a **3% maximum loss limit**. Converting multiple eligible simulated funded accounts increases risk capacity by **50%**, raising the limit to **4.5%**.

If your payout exceeds the combined max loss value, Nexgen will use your payout amount as your maximum live risk allocation.

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Max Loss & Locking Level For Live Cash Account</mark>

Max Loss starts at the Initial Equity Floor (3%, 4.5% max loss or payout amount)\
When your account reaches new end-of-day highs, your Max Loss increases with it, always remaining the same distance below your highest end-of-day balance. Until it reaches the locking point.

**Locking point:** once the account balance reaches Starting Balance + Max Loss + $100, the Max Loss level locks permanently at Starting Balance + $100. From that point, it never trails again, and the account can never fall below Starting Balance + $100.

#### Example:

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="136" align="center"></th><th width="161" align="center"></th><th width="175.4443359375" align="center"></th><th width="114"></th><th width="190.5556640625" align="center"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center"><strong>Live Account Size</strong></td><td align="center"><strong>1 Account Live Transition 3% Max Risk</strong></td><td align="center"><strong>Multiple Accounts Live Transition 4.5% Max Risk</strong></td><td><strong>Max Loss Locks At</strong></td><td align="center"><strong>Account balance to trigger lock</strong></td></tr><tr><td align="center">$25,000</td><td align="center">$750</td><td align="center">$1,125</td><td>$25,100</td><td align="center">$25,850 or $26,225</td></tr><tr><td align="center">$50,000</td><td align="center">$1,500</td><td align="center">$2,250</td><td>$50,100</td><td align="center">$51,600  or $52,350</td></tr><tr><td align="center">$100,000</td><td align="center">$3,000</td><td align="center">$4,500</td><td>$100,100</td><td align="center">$103,100 or $104,600</td></tr><tr><td align="center">$150,000</td><td align="center">$4,500</td><td align="center">$6,750</td><td>$150,100</td><td align="center">$154,600 or $156,850</td></tr></tbody></table>

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Scaling & Position Sizing:</mark>

Position size increases as your account balance grows.

* **$25K:** Starts at **1 contract** (10 micros)
* **$50K, $75K & $100K:** Start at **2 contracts** (20 micros)
* **$150K:** Starts at **3 contracts** (30 micros)

You earn **1 additional contract** (10 micros) for every **$5,000 in net profit** above the **locking level.**

#### **$50,000 Example:**

<table data-header-hidden data-search="false"><thead><tr><th align="center"></th><th align="center"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center"><strong>Account Balance</strong></td><td align="center"><strong>Contracts</strong></td></tr><tr><td align="center">$50,000</td><td align="center">2 Minis / 20 micros</td></tr><tr><td align="center">$55,000</td><td align="center">3 Minis / 30 micros </td></tr><tr><td align="center">$60,000</td><td align="center">4 Minis / 40 micros </td></tr><tr><td align="center">$65,000</td><td align="center">5 Minis / 50 Micros</td></tr></tbody></table>

#### **$150,000 Example:**

<table data-header-hidden data-search="false"><thead><tr><th align="center"></th><th align="center"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="center"><strong>Account Balance</strong></td><td align="center"><strong>Contracts</strong></td></tr><tr><td align="center">$150,000</td><td align="center">3 Minis / 30 micros </td></tr><tr><td align="center">$155,000</td><td align="center">4 Minis / 40 micros </td></tr><tr><td align="center">$160,000</td><td align="center">5 Minis / 50 Micros</td></tr><tr><td align="center">$165,000</td><td align="center">6 Minis / 60 Micros</td></tr></tbody></table>

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Payout Information</mark>

Your **first payout request requires at least 5 completed trading days** in your live account.

After you complete your first five trading days, you may submit a payout request **each Friday**.

Also, you must make it to your first payout and be profitable before you take on the financial burden of paying for additional exchanges &#x20;

* Profit split is 90% to the trader and 10% to the firm&#x20;
* Payouts are able to be taken after your account has hit the "Locking point," when your account balance reaches Starting Balance + Max Loss + $100
* You can request payouts each Friday on a weekly cycle, with a $250 minimum per request.
* Payouts are drawn from realized net profit and may not reduce the account below Starting Balance + $100.

<p align="center">Live Cash Accounts have no rules for consistency or daily loss limits.</p>

**Professional Status Data Fees & Risk Desk Discretion**<br>

#### Live Trading Data Fees Requirements:

* **Level II (Depth of Market) Pro Data:** **$195/month**, deducted from your trading account.
* **Tradesea:** Additional **$35/month**, deducted if used.
* Traders must trade **MNQ, NQ, MES, or ES**. To request another market, submit a support ticket or contact us on Discord. Additional exchange data fees may apply.

#### Risk Management & Scaling:

* Position size scales with **net profit** and may be reduced if risk quality deteriorates.
* The Risk Desk may cap, reduce, or pause contract sizing based on volatility, trading behavior, account history, concentration risk, or overall firm exposure.
* Traders must use reasonable stop losses and may not trade with unlimited or undefined risk.
* The firm may maintain smaller position limits until traders demonstrate consistent discipline, risk management, and execution quality.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://nexgen-software-services.gitbook.io/nexgen-pro-trader-funding/funded-account-info/nexgen-live-cash-accounts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
