# Nexgen Live Cash Accounts

***

There is no application process to be considered for a Live Cash Account. The opportunity is earned by demonstrating consistent, disciplined, and profitable trading during your Sim/Live Account. Once your trading performance meets our internal risk standards, our Risk Desk will contact you with the next steps. **Do not open support tickets requesting a move to a live cash account**.

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Max Loss & Lock Rule:</mark>

**Each account uses a 4% Max Loss. The Max Loss is the hard account failure level: if account equity touches or falls below it at any time, the account is closed.**

* **Max Loss** starts at the Initial Equity Floor. As your account reaches new end-of-day highs, your Max Loss moves up with it, always staying the same distance below your highest end-of-day balance. until it reaches the locking point.
* Locking point: once the account balance reaches Starting Balance + Max Loss + $100, the Max Loss level locks permanently at Starting Balance + $100. From that point, it never trails again, and the account can never fall below Starting Balance + $100.
* A daily loss limit applies at 3.5% of the current account balance. It scales with the account as the balance grows and pauses trading for the remainder of the session if the limit is reached (see Scaling and Position Sizing).

## <mark style="color:$warning;">Scaling & Position Sizing:</mark>

Position size scales with account balance. Each account starts at 2 contracts and adds 1 contract for every $5,000 of balance growth, across all account sizes. The daily loss limit at each step is 3.5% of the current account balance. Scaling is earned from the net profit gained.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nexgen-software-services.gitbook.io/nexgen-pro-trader-funding/funded-account-info/nexgen-live-cash-accounts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
